SHANNON DECELLE
hannon DeCelle is a multifaceted educator, photographer, and artist based in Rensselaer County, New York. Born in Troy, New York, she holds a B.A. in Social Science from Purchase College and an M.S. in Visual Arts Education from the College of Saint Rose. As a New York State Certified Visual Arts Instructor, Ms. DeCelle has taught students across various grade levels, from kindergarten to Advanced Placement 2-D. She also serves as the Yearbook Advisor and has worked with organizations like the Berkshire Bird Paradise and Bentleys Cave Preserve.
In addition to her work in education, Ms. DeCelle has an extensive photography career. She has been a staff photographer for The Berkshire Eagle and The Register Star and worked as the upstate photographer for The New York Post for many years. She continues to freelance for numerous publications, marketing agencies, and individuals. Shannon has also shared her expertise as a photography hiking guide at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Massachusetts.
When she's not teaching or capturing images, Shannon enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, Jack.
